Objectives of the Suppliers Registration
The purpose of the Electronic Suppliers Registration is to give PT Compras, systemized information about the contacts, products and services of its current and potential suppliers, in order to enable a more effective procurement activity.
The Suppliers Registration shall contribute to develop PT Group activity and it is an essential requirement so the suppliers will be able to be consulted in any acquisition procedures of the PT Group. Therefore, only suppliers that are correctly registered in PT Compras Suppliers Database will be contacted for new purchasing procedures.
Each Supplier shall have a restricted area in the Suppliers Portal, where the information included is available for consultation and/or modification by the company.

Registration Procedures
In order to complete your electronic registration you have to fulfill the following procedures:
a. Pre-Registration
Fill-in the pre-registration form in PT Compras website, with your company's main data as well as your spokespersons data for matters regarding the Suppliers Portal.
b. Letter Requesting Registration Authorization
After you've completed your pre-registration, an automatic letter requesting registration authorization will pop-up, and it has to be printed, signed by the person(s) who legally bind the company, recognized and sent to the address written on the top of the form. This procedure enables us to assure that the spokesperson identified in the letter is dully recognized by the company as the responsible for all matters regarding the Suppliers Portal.
c. Registration Authorization
After PT Compras receives the letter, its contents are verified to ensure that all requested information is inserted and duly recognized.
If the letter complies with the requirements, an automatic e-mail will be addressed to the company's spokesperson with a Login and a Password that enables the access to the reserved area of the company and is necessary to complete more detailed information concerning your company.
If the letter does not fulfil all the requisites, an e-mail will be sent to the designated spokesperson informing him of the missing information (lack of information, missing signatures duly recognized by the person(s) who legally binds the company, etc).
PT Compras will give a 15 day deadline to correct the requisites that were not fulfilled, after which the registration shall be cancelled.
d. Registration
After receiving the confidential e-mail with the Login and the Password, the spokesperson has to enter in the reserved area of the Suppliers Portal and include the required information.
The required information, classified as obligatory or complementary, is formed by the company's data, by the structured indication of the goods and services that the company offers and its commercial contacts.
In order to complete the registration, all the information classified as obligatory has to be filled, in which case an e-mail confirming the registration in PT Group Suppliers Database will be sent.
Only in this moment can a company be consulted in any purchasing process regarding the company's designated Goods and Services. Nevertheless, PT Compras reserves the right to, in any given negotiation process, make a pre-selection of the companies to consult.
Fees
In Order to be registered in the PT Compras Suppliers Database, suppliers shall pay an initial 500 euros registration fee, as well as a Suppliers Database maintenance fee of 500 euros per year (VAT at the legal rate accrues to these values).
PT Compras reserves the right to suspend or to cancel the suppliers' registration, and, in consequence, any possibility of such supplier to be consulted in future acquisitions by the PT Group, in case the abovementioned fees are not paid by the supplier.

Responsibility and Information Confidentiality
The supplier shall be held responsible for the information inserted in the Suppliers Portal and may, at any time, access to its own information. The supplier shall keep up to date and maintain accurate all its information directly in the Suppliers Portal. The supplier may ask, at any time the deletion of its data, upon written request to PT Compras, to the following address [Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo, n.º41, 8.º Andar, Lisboa].
The information made available by the suppliers shall be processed by PT Compras for the purpose of managing PT Group Suppliers contacts and in order to centralize the entire activity of market prospecting, consultation and products and services acquisition to the PT Group.
Each company can only access its own information, as the website is protected against external access. Nevertheless and once the data is collected on open networks, data be circulate on the network without security measures and may be at risk of being seen and used by unauthorised third parties. Therefore, the security of the data is also the suppliers' responsibility, who shall adopt the necessary security measures to avoid any unauthorized third parties access. The supplier undertakes, namely, to use both the login and password given in a diligent way and not to make them available to any unauthorized parties.
The supplier shall be held responsible for any damages caused in consequence of any loss or improper use of the login and password and, therefore, PT Compras cannot be held responsible for any change, deletion or introduction made by a third party to the data of any company.
