Application of Portugal Telecom Procurement Model to business relations with suppliers results in the following practices:

 Transparency

All information should be formally provided to potential suppliers during any Procurement Process, ensuring information access transparency.

 Equal Opportunities

Equal opportunities are guaranteed to all suppliers offering comparable conditions during the negotiation process, allowing Group openness to all suppliers.

 Access to Information

Suppliers will be able to access any information and clarifications they may need, on any issue, regarding the negotiations in course, in a clear, complete and cordial manner.

 Reciprocity and Accuracy

All conditions regarding delivery deadlines, prices, payment, acquisition conditions and allocation of responsibilities should be defined, in a detailed manner, by both parties.

 Loyalty

People participating in negotiations should take company objectives into account, attempting to meet company needs in the most advantageous and credible manner.

 Reciprocal Procurement

Reciprocal procurement should not condition or influence the result of any negotiation process.

 Confidentiality

Portugal Telecom and its suppliers should keep all information exchanged during a Procurement Process confidential.
